Merrion Hotel Dublin Ireland

Located in the Georgian area of central Dublin, opposite Government Buildings and the National Gallery, The Merrion Hotel Dublin was created from four listed Georgian Townhouses and was completely restored in opulent 18th century style, with Rococo Stucco plasterwork, with landscaped period gardens and a spectacular collection of Irish art.



Accommodation: The Merrion aims to combine elegant surroundings with a warm Irish welcome and efficient service. Bedrooms were luxuriously designed using Irish fabrics and antiques, reflecting an 18th Century Georgian Townhouse style. Classically elegant with Frette linens and Italian marble bathrooms, some with vaulted roccoco plasterwork ceilings and some with marble fireplaces. Facilities include individually-controlled air-conditioning, multi-phone line facility, fax, voice mail, satellite and cable tv, ISDN, video-conferencing, in-room safe. Services include 24-hour room and valet service, laundry, dry-cleaning, pressing, shoe shine, private car park with valet parking.



Bars & Restaurants: The Merrion Hotel hosts Restaurant Patrick Gilbaud, Ireland's most award-winning restaurant, which also has a separate room for private parties.

Other restaurants in the hotel include Morningtons restaurant, with a range of menus - lunchtime Table dhote, pre- and post-theatre, evening A la Carte ; The Garden Terrace for al fresco dining, the Drawing Rooms for afternoon tea. Bars include No. 23 cocktail bar and The Cellar Bar.

Six salon rooms have been restored to 18th century Georgian style specifically for Private Dining, each with own entrance and lobby.
