Conalty Catering Consultancy was established by Barbara Conalty in order to support the Catering and Hospitality Industry in the provision of staff training. The company can also facilitate operational, financial and structural change in an environment governed by the need to meet legislative requirements, which is also faced with the challenge of staff retention.



Barbara's twenty year work experience spans a number of Industries:



Healthcare

Seven Years as Development and Services Manager, Galvia Hospital, Galway. Currently trading as Bons Secours.



Contract Catering

Eight Years - Site Manager and Regional Manager, Management Catering Services.

Two Years - Site Manager, National University of Ireland, Galway with Campbell Catering Group.

One Year - General Manager Sales, Connacht and Munster, Eurest.



Hotel/Hospitality

Secretary/Manager - Galway Bay Golf & Country Club.

Departmental Management Experience - Marlfield House Hotel, Co Wexford

Holiday Inn Paris.



Licensing



Licensed Trainer with the National Hygiene Partnership to deliver the management of Food Hygiene in the Hospitality Industry Programme.

Licenced Trainer with the Environmental Health Officers Association to deliver the Primary Food Hygiene Programme.

Approved Trainer with Cert to deliver the Trainers in Industry Programme.

Excellence Ireland Certificate in Auditor/Lead Auditor Course.

Services Offered



Training



Conalty Catering offers a number of Mandatory Training Programmes under license or approval. Additionally Management Development and Customer Care programmes may be "custom made" to suit individual organisations.



Consultancy



A range of consultancy services are also available which affords organisations an opportunity to examine current practices, work from constructive quality and financial audit results to develop realistic business plans, assess employee training needs and formulate training plans. Project Management Support is also provided in the area of Business Expansion and /or Refurbishment in compliance with current Food Safety Regulations. Financial Projections may also be prepared in line with expansion plans.
